I am grateful to be part of the Caritas family and to contribute to a community that shares my Christian faith and values. As I have learned more about Caritas and its approach to classical Christian education, I have been drawn to how closely its philosophy aligns with the biblical foundation that shaped my own childhood. I was raised as a missionary kid in Papua New Guinea, where my education was rooted in the Bible and God's Word was an integral part of my upbringing.
As a young adult, I pursued biblical studies certification at Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York. After spending much of my early adult life between the Northeast and Southeast, I moved to Arizona in 2010. I spent many of those years as a stay-at-home mom, a season that reflected my lifelong love for children and the importance of family in my life. In 2017, I became a licensed massage therapist, specializing in oncology, autoimmune conditions, and chronic illness care. I later transitioned into the administrative side of functional and holistic healthcare, working in office management and patient care. I am currently pursuing certification in biblical counseling, continuing to grow in my understanding of how biblical truth can guide and encourage others.
My faith, family, and the experiences that have shaped my life continue to be important to me. My husband, Glen, and I have been married for five years and live in Apache Junction. We are a blended family and have five children: Dexter, 16; Kaylee, 18; Kaiden, 18; Abrielle, 19; and Landon, 21. We attend Family Bible Church in Chandler, AZ. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and making memories together, exploring off-the-beaten-path places, thrifting, reading historical fiction, and working with decorative arts.
